We operate Ticket.ug, a white-label platform offering mobile-first ticketing, NFC-enabled access control, and analytics tools for event organizers and ticket buyers.

5. Sharing Your Information
a. With Subprocessors and Service Providers
We engage third parties (see “Subprocessors List”) to help operate our services. These subprocessors are contractually bound to protect your data and act only under our instruction.
b. With Event Organizers
If you purchase a ticket, your information (e.g., name, contact) may be shared with the event organizer, who becomes the Data Controller for your data under Ugandan law. TKT acts as a Data Processor on their behalf.
c. Cross-Border Transfers
Some of your data may be stored or processed outside Uganda (e.g., on Google Cloud, AWS). In such cases, we ensure that:
- Data is transferred only to countries with adequate protections, or
- We have contractual safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses), or
- We obtain your explicit consent, where necessary.
6. Data Security

- Two-factor authentication (2FA) for admin access
- Regular audits and vulnerability scans
- Staff training in data protection
Data Breach Notification: We will notify affected users and the Personal Data Protection Office (PDPO) in Uganda within 72 hours in the event of a data breach, as required by law.

We retain personal data:
- For as long as your account is active
- As necessary for legal or contractual obligations
- Or until you request deletion (subject to legal exceptions)
We securely delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed.
